Oh god, how bad does my scanner suck? This looks like crap compared to the real version. Tails actually scanned in pale red. I used ORANGE, DAMMIT... ORANGE!!! >_<; And the transitions between marker and colored pencil are virtually unnoticeable. Holy crap. ...Yeah, I had to digitally alter the tint of Tails' fur to make it look semi-like it does on the actual paper. That's lame.
And this, I've decided, is a culmination of all the problems I have when I draw. I cannot draw feet, nor the lower half of a female body, for that matter. My body preportions are out of whack. I can't draw hands consistently. And I REALLY need to think before I ink. Buuuut... in the end, it is just Tails/Fiona fanart. Now on to the positive. Thank-you gift for Scribs, who listened to me wail about stuff that really need not be wailed about. :3 Even though Fiona's kinda become a dirty rotten beyotch recently (wtf, that was out of the blue), that doesn't mean Tails will ever stop loving her or believing that she's a good fox, deep down. I mean, here's my argument... someone like Scourge is evil. He was born evil. He is the personification of evil. Fiona... she at least TRIED to be good. She tried to help out in the fight against Robotnik. Heck, they even made her a medic. Someone who's really, truly evil doesn't become a medic, or at least do it with the faces she exhibited in the comics just after Sonic came back from outer space. Numbers escape me, but they're there. Personally, I think she was either blackmailed or somehow manipulated into acting that way. It just seemed way too OOC for her. Anyway... so. This is supposed to be some time in the future, say... 5 years later. Tails is a teenager, or at least I tried to draw him like one. He's had a crush on her since Sonic #28. He will probably always have a crush on her. Not even her ***spoiler***ing him deters him. He's a total goner when it comes to her. And she... she doesn't believe she's worthy of his affection. Her past... the way she treated him... treated Sonic... someone that does that doesn't deserve that kind of dedication. ... and you can hardly tell she looks uneasy about it because I drew her bangs too long. *thumbs up* Oh, and I figure that, since she dawned that bodysuit when she joined the Freedom Fighters, it'd only be appropriate she lose it when she ditched them. So, I put her in what's supposed to be a sports bra and sweatpants. Whatever. She could wear a yellow polkadotted leisure suit and Tails would still love her. Tails, bless his soul, is ŠSega; Fiona Fox is ŠArchie Comics. Done in Prismacolor markers and pencils, and Pentel markers. |

Anyway, really like the use of those colors you use here. Very awesome. I would really like to get my hands on those really good colors you got. I'm more interested in getting some really good markers, but they cost alot. o_O;
I also like the theme here. Since I read the Archie version and all. Very sad what happened this past issue.*nods* . But I really like seeing Tails like this.

I like Tails' pose here best, the whole cute bow n_n And the speech bubble! It's a cute technical thingy! X3 It shows a lot about his character! He'll always look like a kid no matter how old he gets, I think that's a long lasting part of his character that'll never change :^) But I can tell you made him older, especially if I were to see him standing up. Generally one would have to make him a little fuzzier and a lot taller (I always see him ending up being taller than Sonic someday).
I never understood Fiona much as a character, but I always found her to be someone that shouldn't be left in the background too much. It's nice that she's gotten the spotlight lately, but it's for all the wrong reasons >_< Other-M, funny enough, made me see Fiona as someone that -should- get more attention :^D
